It's Halloween and we were gonna celebrate my friends and I. We had planned for a practice or hangout but family and friends wanted me to go with them as well. The family friends we went to see met us at a Chinese restaurant. We went to eat food and wait for drinks. I ordered a taco and two something else's. We waited and the host came by and served us drinks. He was an old Chinese man. I was served drinks and they were supposed to serve alcohol, I didn't feel good and didn't think I could stomach it so I went to get more water and ice to fill up. I end up staying in that room for 2 hours with no one coming back so I get on my phone, another hour passes and I decide to go outside and play soccer with people, I don't know what language they spoke but they were friendly and wanted to play as well, I was scared at first given they were new people and seemed intimidating and without knowing their language it felt like a hard barrier to cross. We played just 4 or 5 of us at first, then they had even more friends join, maybe 20 people at this point and they said they'd be there to back me up and they're on my side. I play a round or two and have to head back inside, I sit back at the table my dad is a couple seats down, I ask if the food will be out anytime soon, and if the older man will be back with the drinks, he said he should be soon Without realizing I fall asleep, I wake up, my food is finally here, I got charged $300 and I can't seem to figure out why, they have a list of names, and orders next to it, my name was at the top with the charge directly next to my name, I go to eat and sit back down... I wake up again at that same table, it's dark, there's no one around, I search through the building and no one's there, I go outside and what was asphalt with two soccer goals at each end is now seemingly abandoned, the building looks even older and over grown, as well as the soccer field is cracked and weeds are growing everywhere. I turn to look behind me and theres a dark playground, one kid was there i could only see their silhouette even though theyre maybe 20 feet ahead of me, they face me as i notice them they then start running around the playground and I lose sight. I chase them... what was just one turned into maybe 5 or more. What they all had in common was pale faces, dark clothes almost gothic, old and torn, their darkest shades were colored by tar and their lightest colors still had shades of coal smothered on them, they aren't recognizable their hair is pitch black with caved in eyes. I was startled, I check my surroundings once again, I see a road between the playground where I'm now standing and the restaurant I came from. The truck I see passing by I try to flag down, I ask for help desperately trying to maybe get directions or a way out. They stop... lights turn off, a dog exits the truck, shortly after a man exits calling for the dog. I ask them about this place, they say it's abandoned and haunted, the restaurant isn't ever used and this playground should've been torn down with it. But even right before my eyes he vanishes, so does his dog. Even more kids come from behind me like they've just gotten out of school and run excitedly to the playground. All still look old and dead for years they mightve been dead. I run up the street. I turn left and try to get out. I'm met with what looks like a small shopping district. To both sides of me are small shops, the doors are wide and metal like garage doors that open from down and up. Almost all are closed to, with any open being slightly cracked to let anyone in, the buildings are tall and have apartments on top, with clothing lines being spread from between buildings as well. I just start moving forward. I look under doors and enter, to get inside I have to drop down maybe 3 feet to then get under the door, but I'm met with an lady, without clothes, without speaking a word, look me directly in the eye, and I can almost hear her say follow me while she sinks into a pool of water that looked like an overflowing mop sink. I try ignoring her and I turn to the right and move to another room. I then try to go back to the entryway. To the left of it is one more room that I look through. It was more of a supply closet with barrels stacked about, a small boy was on top of a barrel curled up knees to chest arms around his legs, looking at me, it's like he was screaming at me without saying a word. I don't know why but I strangle him, I put my hands around his neck, put his head under the sink of water and hold, I keep squeezing and pressing and there's nothing he can do, I look him dead in the eye he looks back as if to say I don't do anything, after a few moment then he starts screaming realizing i wont let go and he will drown, I felt I couldn't stop so I'm pressing so harder and squeezing for the life of me to keep him under. I am scared of what I've done, I question if any of this is real, and if this dream is coming to life and I'm hurting somebody I care about thinking it's this boy that needs to die. Once that boys body goes limp I hear my mom call for me. As if she was right outside to door, I quickly run and scurry under the big door, afraid there's going to be something that chases me, I pull myself up the landing and start running down the street. It's filled with faceless people, in forgettable clothing. Like they're not people at all just like things that have taken the shape, walking. I see my mom my sister and someone else in the back seat I was sobbing and screaming "where the hell were you guys?" "Where the hell was dad??" My mother tries comforting me saying "he's at home, we were so worried when he didn't come home with you" she opens the car door for me and as soon as I get in it i wake up from the sound of the door slamming
